Bayswater Coal Power Station releases 42,850 tonnes of sulfur dioxide

Jun 30 2019

Bayswater Coal Power Station reports releasing 42,849,938kg of sulfur dioxide in the year to 30 June 2019, the third highest amount of any Australian power station.
The Australian government links repeated or prolonged exposure to moderate concentrations of sulfur dioxide to inflammation of the respiratory tract, wheezing and lung damage.
